Station 1 Safety and Rescue’s Confined Space Rescue Teams are available across Ontario. Built to help you proactively manage risks, our team of Firefighters and Rescue Specialists have decades of experience. We make the process seamless. We’ll support your entry needs in addition to rescue, and will take care of the air monitoring requirements with the newest MSA air monitors (MSA Altair iO4) or tailored devices. Day, nights, weekends, and holiday service, we provide the best services, allowing our clients to quickly and safely perform the work, knowing they have a competent team ready to support them. RESPIRATOR FIT TESTING SERVICES
Station 1 Safety and Rescue specializes Respirator Fit Testing. Our team has supported hospitals, long-term care and residential facilities, fire departments and paramedics, and manufacturers. Our expert Fit Testers make the process simple, quick, clean, reliable, fun, and informative. Compliant with CSA Z94.4-18, the standard for the Selection, Use, and Care of Respirators, we provide Quantitative Fit Testing and Qualitative Fit Testing services for:
N95s Respirators (N95 Masks)
Half and Full Face Respirators
SCBA Respirators
We can fit test a minimum of 8 staff per hour with just one expert Fit Tester using our TSI PortaCounts.
HIGH ANGLE RESCUE STANDBY

Confined Space Consulting service starts with confirming whether your workplace in fact has Confined Spaces. We then support assessing your risks, developing recommended controls, safe entry procedures, and rescue plans tailored to the space.
HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING
Health and Safety Training is essential to keep workers and teams aware of hazards and risks. It supports having competent and confident staff who can perform tasks to meet legal training requirements. It also better prepares staff to put the correct controls in place for their protection in order to perform critical tasks. Training should be practical and hands-on for high-risk activities to get the best transfer and retention of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep workers safe. CONFINED SPACE ATTENDANT SERVICES
A Confined Space Attendant is required for each Confined Space entry. Station 1 Safety and Rescue provides Attendants when you need expert air monitoring or an additional resource to free up your team so they can focus on the work.
AIR MONITORING AND REPORTING
At Station 1 Safety and Rescue, our air monitoring services are designed for testing specialized instances where standard gases such as CO, H2S, O2, CH4, and other exotic gases like CL, NH3, and more require testing to determine exposure levels.
