Founded in 2026, Station 1 Safety and Rescue is the combination of a group of highly skilled emergency responders, health and safety professionals, and operations specialists, with decades of experience supporting employers across multiple industries throughout Canada. This team has prided itself on delivering exception customer service to our clients by truly listening to their needs and helping them find the best solutions. Patrick Rodgerson, CRSP - Founder and President

After two decades of building practical experience in the health and safety sector as a trainer, consultant, expert respirator fit tester, and confined space rescue specialist, Patrick has served in leadership roles including Director of Health and Safety at RiskCheck Inc., Director of Operations at Hot Zone Training Consultants, and Senior Director of Health and Safety at SafetyCo Partners and Safety Design Strategies, where he worked alongside frontline teams and client partners across Canada to strengthen safety programs and protect workers. Throughout his career, Patrick has been privileged to contribute to key health and safety projects, ranging from supporting Eclipse Innovation on the early development of the Eclipse Respirator Series at the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic to managing one of the province’s largest WSIB Safety Groups with the Retail Council of Canada. He has provided confined space rescue and attendant services and practical safety solutions for clients across multiple sectors including nuclear facilities, provincial utilities, water and wastewater treatment, construction, industrial, pulp and paper, healthcare, food manufacturing, mining, and property management sectors.

Patrick is excited to continue this work as Founder and President of Station 1 Safety and Rescue, leading a dedicated team of Health and Safety Consultants, Fit Testers, and Confined Space and High Angle Rescue Specialists. Together they bring hands‑on experience, thoughtful program design, and a collaborative approach to every engagement, focused on protecting people, reducing risk, and helping organizations address organizational opportunities.
